We offer laser etching on a wide variety of materials and products.

While laser etching is a wonderful option, it is important to work with a company that is experienced. At Artwear Inc., we know what to expect based on the material being used and will always advise you accordingly, so you get the results you are hoping to see.

Laser Etching in Greensboro, North Carolina

For example, laser etching on polyester products “melts” the top layer of fabric creating a smooth, tonal design. Laser etching on cotton & cotton blends removes the dye, creating a design in the color of the native fiber. Non-colorfast and over-dyed fabric will not hold integrity of design in laundry. Laser etching works beautifully on most leather, vinyl, polar fleece, medium-color polyester/performance wear, poly blends, and wood.

While laser etching works well on the bill of finished caps and visors, it is not recommended for headwear (except on the bill), or through pockets on bags or pockets in lined jackets, fabrics with specialty finishes (water-repel or repel & release), or non-colorfast fabrics, or very dark or very light colors. We are more than happy to test almost anything you want for only a modest setup charge.

Some of our favorite items for laser etching include t-shirts, polos/knits, sweatshirts/fleece, activewear, outerwear, woven shirts, workwear, bags, and accessories, such as towels, robes, blankets, aprons, scarves, gloves, and more. We can work with all sizes of clothing for men and women, including youth, infant & toddler, and tall.
